Can I file divorce in Tribal Court? Answer: Hoopa Valley Tribal Court does not hear
Divorce Proceedings at this time.
Can I file in Tribal Court? Answer: You may file in Tribal Court if you reside
within the Hoopa Valley Jurisdiction.
How much is the filing fee? Answer: Hoopa Valley Tribal Court filing fee's
are $25.00. For civil and juvenile decisions it is $50.00 for appeals
to the Hoopa Valley Tribal Court acting as the Court of Appeals, and
$150.00 for appeals to the Hoopa Valley Supreme Court.
Can I fax my filing to the Court? Answer: No you cannot fax directly to the Tribal
Court, however you may have a third party submit a fax into record.
