The
Hoopa Valley Tribal Council is comprised of 7 elected Council member
and one elected Chairman.
Of the 7 council members, one is elected by the council to represent them
as the Vice-Chairman.
The 7 elected officials are representatives of the 7 districts
that correspond to Traditional
Village Sites and make up the Hoopa Valley.

The
Hoopa Valley Tribal Primary Election was held on Tuesday, April 26th, 2011 at the Hoopa Tribal Council

There were #1598 members of the Hoopa Valley Tribe who were qualified to vote in this election. There was a total of #643 who voted at the polls and a total of #195 who voted absentee, for a combined total of #849 members who voted this election.
In accordance with Section 16-I of the Hoopa Valley Tribal Election Ordinance, these are the official results of April 26th, 2011 Primary Election of the Hoopa Valley Tribe.
